Electricity generation produces air pollution and releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. We long ago implemented an energy conservation policy designed to reduce the consumption of non-renewable resources.

We use energy saving light bulbs and lighting systems that switch on only when they detect body heat, throughout our office buildings and depots. Low energy lamps use up to 80% less electricity than standard light bulbs, but produce the same amount of light.

Wherever possible we only purchase items using recycled materials. We avoid using products when we are aware that their production or use might pollute the environment.
